We just keep growing...
…I knew she wouldn’t have my complexion.
Truth be told, we (and I do mean WE) would all MUCH prefer that my little girl look like Beth. As she’s grown over these last 4(+) months, Jessie gets progressively more elegant and striking. In addition to sharing similar faces, they also share a very similar personality and demeanor. They are both the joy and sunshine of my life.
Last night, while I was editing some pictures to use as Christmas presents I discovered something interesting.
That’s my smile.
FYI - He didn't die, he just moved to a new home.
Beth already looks like she never had a baby. She's more beautiful now than ever, and I'm enjoying her sanity again after the 9 months of craziness. She has officially been back at work for 3 weeks now. Her class is really cool, and she's already fallen in love with each kid in thier own way. I on the other hand am getting to experience time each day with my daughter that most dads never get. The Mr. Mom Mornings have become the highlight of my day. We spend our time eating, swinging and playing. Dad also gets lots of laughing in while Jessie Rose makes funny faces at all my crazy sounds. As if there was every any question, I'm VERY happy to be a dad!
